We use KDP to publish and print our coloring books, so the paper weight is 50-61 pound, 74-90 grams per square meter, but the paper can vary depending on region and the printing partner chosen by Amazon.
Water based markers will commonly streak and pill the paper, though can be fun for some textures. A brand a lot of people like to use are Ohuhu markers, they often go on sale if you add them to your amazon card and wait for a sale to pop up! They are alcohol based markers.
